As the first employee in 1968, James Blurton, had a vision to build a profitable property and casualty insurance agency that provided superior insurance products and superior customer service for all his customers.

Fast forward to present and our agency has undergone a name change to Anchor Insurance
Services, Inc. and a new CEO, Ms. Melissa Kushner.  Melissa started in the financial and insurance industry in 1997.  The goals and visions have not changed and the agency continues to work together to enhance the opportunities in today’s insurance environment.

To support continued growth we have joined forces with “Potomac Insurance Network” and look forward to working with our new “Strategic Partners”. Anchor Insurance Services, Inc. has also upgraded to “Applied Systems” the number one agency management system in the
industry and “EZLynx” comparative rating software.

We will continue to focus on doing it right the first time. All applications are complete and
